A highly decorated, heavy sheet silver mask with high relief decoration, depicting a mans face with a long and curly beard. Two snakes decorate his forehead. The mask has pierced ears with two hollow-ware zoomorphic head earrings. Chin rest on the reverse. Lined on the interior with the original cloth backing, which gave some comfort when worn. Three suspension holes along the edges. Intact, overall exc. cond. Rare to find a silver example. Private AZ.
