Mold hammered copper ornament having cut out and incised design. Scene depicts a central human face wearing a crescentic crown bearing a suspension perforation. Flanked by two seated figures facing away, larger standing birds at the ends, their beaks resting atop the heads of the figures. All are upon a crescentic base, a typical Moche feature. Crack through right side of central face. Dark brown patina with areas of verdigris, else intact. Provenance: Ex. Jean-Eugene Lions collection, Geneva.
