Description

Chancay mantle or cape worn on the shoulders of a dignitary during major ceremonies.  It is decorated with 14 hornbill birds, beautifully stylized and naturalistic forms in earth colors. It presents multicolor lines at the top and bottom with red fringes at the ends.
